my 1st ever armor build, so far so good I think, all airbrushed in Tamiya olive drab with a little pre shade on grills, next step weathering the tracks, any help given on how to weather those would be appreciated.
Thanks for looking
Scott.

Good luck with first afv Scott
Tracks how like hem
1, prime
2, steel color
3, earth tones. Light to dark. Just a bit here and there
4, wash
5, pigments. Not to much so you hide the previous work.
6, more oils washes? Acrylics? Drybrush?
7. Steel pigments where they get worn out.
The hard part is getting the colors to work together and every step showing to create an complex and eye pleasing finish. But I've seen your work on your site! You'll be fine!!! Great work.
Good luck!!!

You need to watch out Scott armor can be addictive, I like a good armor build up and this is not one I have tried yet

Can't wait to see this come together, as I LOVE the M26 Pershing!
Great choice, Scott!

Hey Scott,
Nice job, it looks great!
Myself I have just started my build of this kit. I'm quite inexperienced so will watch your posts
I have just ordered a metal gun barrel and metal link tracks for my Pershing. Let's see how that works out for me.... keeping my fingers crossed I ordered the right parts.

Hey Tommy, then we're both in the same boat, this is my first armor model so I'm learning all the time, however I haven't spent the extra for the additions like you, I want to see how it turns out first then maybe on my next armor I'll add the extras.

Latest update on dio.
All airbrushed with tamiya acrylics & Alclad for metal effects.
Ignore the blue pipe, that's where I'm intending to install a flickering wall light.
Scott.
