Dragon Pzbflswg III Ausf. K, Imperial

Started a new modem, the Dragon Pzbflswg III Ausf. K, Imperial series since the one I was working on was close to painting and I was traveling for work and don't haven portable paint booth (was working on the Academy Hetzer "Prague"). Well, since this was an older there was a bit of cleaning up to do and not the best fit everywhere. Also had to do a lot of shaving for the turret opening to fit the turret for this model, which was not too much fun. Since this is more of a learning model for me, it was too big of a deal that it isn't the cleanest. Just have to be careful with all the delicate antennas on it, especially since I already broke one of the branches on the rear antenna, but was able to glue it on. Any tips on cleaning up those awkward delicate parts like that? I just did the best I could for right now. Now it is prime time and on to painting. Thanks for checking it out.

One of the more difficult steps was to cut off the little bumps on the sides
Of one of the series, which ended up as bolts on the turret side, as seen in the circle below:


Cutting them out was a little tricky, but the hardest part was not losing them. Eventually I figured out to put the box top underneath to catch them. Good thing there was more than enough to make up for the lost ones.

I have this kit in my stash as well and looks like a build I would have to be patient on. I have no tips or anything yet on it since I have not started it. Good luck though and looks great so far

Primed up and ready for some paing. Well, this one will have to wait a little until I finish painting the other model I am working on, which hopefully won't be too long.
