Airfix 1/48 Stuka

This is an old kit, but it still is not as bad as it could be. Due to the poor quality I decide to do this as a crashed aircraft. This will go on a diorama. There were three grey sprues and on clear. There were three options on Italian, one Battle of Britain and on North African. I decide I would redo this a winter white wash.

I started work on the cockpit, that had decent detail for its age. I wasn't to bother about this because it would be covered in blood from the dead pilots

I then alter the pilot and gunner to look dead

Looks good so far I like how you fixed the figures to the way you wanted it to appear as if they are dead. The damage on the wing is alos very well created

I painted the cockpit with minimal detail because...

...it's covered in blood!

I then glued to thing together, after I had added some damage along the edge of the wing, to simulate the areas that were damaged in he crash

I didn't like this so I changed it and added rust and dirt colours

I built this kit and it needed a lot of filler, but I got there in the end. I like your idea...I should have adopted this approach with such a bad kit! I'm looking forward to seeing the end result with this one mate....looking good so far!
