Noob from 'Bristle'

Post by darboots »

Hey all,

Just recently joined up to the forum after watching ISM's tutorials on YouTube.

My name is Darren, and I'm from Bristol, UK. I'm fast approaching 50, and have far too many started but incompleted kits, mainly WWII prop aircraft, and a couple of early jets, including the Airfix TSR2 in 1/48 with some nice extra resin and etch to be started.

I returned to the hobby about 8 years ago, but most of my 'spare' time has been taken up with study to complete an OU degree... until now!

I was always a brush painter, but now have a couple of airbrushes and one 1/32 Revell Fw190 D-9 airbrushed, with mottling, to my name! I'm hoping to get a few of the incomplete kits painted up soon, to include 1/24 Mustang, 1/48 Catalina, 1/48 Jug, and a couple of others I'm sure.

Cheers for now, Dar., :th:
