Tamiya Tiger I Mid Prod. Reveal....

Post by Joesdad »

Hi guys.
All done for me this one, well I say done she's not actually finished. The tracks and wheels could do with a bit of attention and I wanted to do a bit more rusting but I can't quite get it right. There is a family illness going on at the moment so I can't concentrate as I would like, so I'm calling her done.
My first TIger, in fact first tank, was a joy to build, I really enjoyed it. I'll never be an expert but I'm definitely going to do more

So there you go. Please tell what's right but more importantly what's wrong and how I can improve.
Thanks for taking the time to have a little look.
And thanks to Devon and James and of course his Lordship Coen.
Yes.. It is supposed to look like that!

That's is excellent work Tim, for someone that's been building armour for a couple of years. Since you say this is pretty much your first, I'd say you did a fantastic job.
The most important part though... was it fun, and did you learn anything new. If those two questions are answered Yes, then no matter how good or bad your work turns out it's a success.
You win on every front with this one bud.
Well freaking done!!! :th: :th: :th:

This turned out really nice. Digging that chipping on the fenders (kind of looks exactly like my chipping).
