Managed to get this one finished also. Well, 99.5% as I still have to attach the spinner, but apart from that.... here she is!

Built OOB with a few scratched enhancements such as the ignition harness and pushrods on the Wasp Twin, the exhaust pipes were replaced with aluminium tubing hollowed out for scale and my now standard replacement of the wingtip and tail navigation lights and the pitot tube.

Went for a tatty rather than mucky weathering. Sort of...

I should also mention, the machine guns are not yet glued - hence they may appear to be pointing askew at times!

A question if you don't mind.
Did you use any gloss/satin varnish to make this yellow engine hood (sorry, but I don't know the English name of this part ) to give it this shiny look ?

Gav, I used Mig's Dark Wash which I find more realistic than their Oil And Grease mixture!

and I find another superb piece of aviation kit looking so good it could sit on an airfield and not look out of place..
Well done that man for an excellent piece of building, painting and weathering.
I'm not a "planes" type of guy but wow.. I could be tempted.

Its an amzing model, you know it that we admire you a lot
Love the kinda heavy weathering, the harsh conditions on the northern front really left their marks on the material.
