Well I started the same time as Paul and Seb but I'm nowhere near as complete. I had been meaning to do this thread earlier but face book is so much easier, no mucking about with photbucket trying to get pictures uploaded.

Image
Okay started on the same day as Paul during a hangout so if you look carefully you see the half built hull.

Image
Okay lower hull. Nuff said.

Image
The lower hull interior. It's missing a few bits but when the turrets on you don't notice.

Image
Wheels, idlers and sprockets.

Image
Okay turret dry fitted to upper hull.

Image
Turret interior.

Image
I used the factory gun barrel which unfortunately uses the plastic muzzle brake.

Image
The front end.

Image
The back end.

Image
Fruil tracks as the factory supplied rubber bands are terrible.

Image
Interior was primed and Tamiya Olive Drab applied. Some dry brushing of the interior was done at the same time.

Image
The gun breach was angled 30degrees to give the loader more room to get the rounds in the breach.

Image
I primed the barrel with a two pack epoxy car primer to stop the paint from chipping during handling.

Image
Wheels are base coated.
Image
Lots of little links but it's only one side. They were burnished with AK fluid and even after careful teasing to get the air bubbles out still left a few bright patches.

So far no real complaints with the kit apart from the obvious moulded details like the engine deck grills and some fit problems. When the two hulls are placed together there are a couple of glaring gaps. These should be solved with some plastic rod and Tamiya extra thin to simulate weld seams.

More later.

Looks good mate. I do love tank destroyers, I think its the same reason that I love artillery, big guns on vehicles!
