1/32 Eduard/Alley Cat BF109A Condor Legion, Spanish Civil War

Post by rwsmith14 »

I will be using the 1/32 Eduard BF109E-1 Kit as a base. The Alley Cat conversion resin kit is very nice. instructions are a little bit confusing as they jump from different variants BF109A,B,C,D within the same step. Took me an hour last night to go through the Alley Cat instructions to decipher them. some reference images that are referred too are not included on the instruction sheets. I think I have it figured it out I think I'm building the A variant.although it might end up a B-1 version. Never did a major conversion.. so it should be fun and interesting. I'll post pics of the resin parts later as they are a thing of beauty
In my research so far, the subject of the early BF109 is very convoluted and contradicting. It seems the're many "experts" that disagree. I'm looking forward to this build.

Nice kit...those Eduard kits are awesome, but I've never built a 1/32, just 1/48. Will be following this one...enjoy building her mate! :) :thumb1:
