Revell 1/72 P-26A Peashooter

Post by FabianAUT »

This my first airplane, so of course i had some issues with the kit. I messed up some of the decals just because i was unpatient... fortunately the same decals are used on the top of the plane and the bottom so my model is missing some decals on the bottom but is complete on the top ;)

This is a very old kit ( 1967 ), so i had to clean up loads of flash on almost any part and it also had some fit issues. Still, im quite happy with the result.

I brushpainted it using revells enamels.

The little spots above the 62 on the tail is just dust i forgot to clean up...

Thanks! Yeah its a neat little plane and something more unusual. And it was quite inventive for the time, the first us full metal frame aircraft used by the us army for ground support. Unfortunately there is no new tool kit arround...
