Hi From Newfoundland Canada

Post by jgaudon34 »

My fellow club member at IPMS St. John's Newfoundland, Rodney, pointed me here. Looks like lots of great work and interest in the hobby here.

I am mainly an Armour modeler, WWII Allied and German, but recently turned onto Canadian Modern Armour in the last year or so.
I also dabble in Military Aircraft, mostly propeller jobs from WWII.

Like many I did the hobby as a kid but gave it up to be an adult, etc and came back to the hobby in a serious way about 10 years ago.

I look forward to seeing the great stuff here and from time to time maybe posting some of mine.

Currently working on:
Hurricane Mk 1 48 Scale with Sqd Ldr Johnny Kent marking for 303 Sqd Sept 1940
Hasegawa 48 Scale Tiffy "Car door"
Me 262 48 Scale Revell
Tamiya 35 Scale Tiger 1 Mid
Bronco 35 Scale Staghound
Hobby Boss 72 Scale Wildcat VMF-214 Swashbucklers (before Blacksheep)

Waiting for the temps to rise so I can go in the shed and paint enamels (no paint booth :( )

Hi jgaudon34
My Grandfather was from St' Johns, came over here during WW2 to cut trees and ended up with a Scottish lady...the rest is history!
Looking forward to seeing your work and chat!
