Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair 1/48

Hi Guys,
Its been a while since I have been able to post on the forum... life got in the way as it tends to do sometimes. Anyway I am back now and will enter this here beauty:

Its 2000 rebox of the older line of Tamiya Corsair's. The kit comes on four grey sprues and one for the clear parts. That should make for a relatively quick built even with the added Eduard PE. I also did purchase some Montex Masks for the national insignia. I have been meaning to give these a try for a while now as they seem to provide a nice alternative to decals. I have found that Tamiya decals in particular can sometimes be a bit tricky to work with.
I have been wanting to build a Corsair for a while now and am really looking forward to this one!! I am planning to go for the wings folded and the canopy open. We will see how it turns out
