Sukhoi Sukhoi Su-35s [Hasegawa 2014]

I present to you a modern Russian aircraft, based on my favorite plane... the SU-27.
You can still see the resemblance and boy are those body lines sexy!
In a dog fight against any US plane, I personally think this machine will eat them all up like dog's breakfast. Esp the F22 / F35.

Sometimes, I wish I had an airbrush as the camo is quite tedious with the brush. But it still came out well in the end. Everything was painted with Vallejo MC. The light blue base paint was a mix of my own
I didn't want to have landing gears down as I like to show off the drooping nose, and anyway this thing looks mean in flight mode.

I will add the weapons on in future.

This was Hasegawa's 1/72 new tooling new kit (late 2014) and it was a treat to build. Highly recommend. Decals are awesome.

Yeah, the stand was my own touch, but the kit actually comes with a decent stand! Ruski jets are the best in my option.
Definitely add this kit to your stash. Actually I have a set of aftermarket white metal landing gears that I didn't bother using. Do you want them seeing as you're in straya?

Holy shite that is good paintwork, hairy stick or otherwise
Word to the wise, I do most of my clear Future with soft brush and airbrushing is still not second nature to me

I bought it on ebay from a guy. he sold it for $35aud. Wow now when i do the search, people are selling it for 60+ not including shipping
