Thanks mates

So I added some seatbelts for the cockpit I just use some masking tape and here is how it looks like
Image

Next I mask the canopy using Humbrol's Maskol I don't use it that often but since this canopy lines are still visible so why not use it
Since I'm having a lack of space on my desk I decided to use the box as my parts holder. I just have to poke some holes and here is how it looks like
Quite neat tbh I could reduce the amount of boxes lying around my room

Image

I then started on my base. I wanted my fw190 to be on a field so I used this few materials for it
Image

Once the grass was cut according the measurements of the base I cut it out and apply the white glue over the base and vo la here is my simple base for my fw190
Image

Next job shall be priming the plane and starting the paint job

Some updates....

I painted up the cockpit area and painted up the seatbelts and the seat it was then followed by putting the little cockpit in its place

Image

Image

Image

I gave the bottom another layer of filler as the seam line was still visible
Image

Then it was sanded down and it is as smooth as an egg
Image

I then proceed to priming the plane and the bottom part of the base using Vallejo's black primer
Image

I gave it a few hours to dry and I apply the first colour light blue
Image

Image

Leaving it to dry again I then masked up the areas for the camo scheme I choose the second scheme for this. I choose this because as it was the plane based on the current airfix 1/24 fw 190 boxart and the plane belongs to an ace pilot too

Image

I'll start it camo scheme tomorrow hopefully my mixture for the camo work out like how it should wish me luck boys

Final Update

Continue from the previous progress I spray up all the camo colours. For the lighter grey I mixed XF-22 and XF-1 and the darker grey is XF-63 not sure the pics can do justice but the difference is very clear to my eyes. Later I painted the yellow parts and hand painted the engine with gun metal plus an aluminium dry brushing.

Once it's all done I assemble up the landing gears , prop and the bombs. The exhaust then masked and painted flat black

Next up decalling time!! Most of them go on well but some were bad

Thats the end of this build the finish product is in the reveal section. Thanks for the support :th:
