Hi guys,

Here's a little in between project, that I'm working on.
While waiting for my Panzer 2 kit, I wanted something to build.
So I bought a cheap TOM kit. Cheap and of bad quality. But nevertheless fun.
Cheap kits can look good too if you paint them right! :thumb2:
There were warped parts and flesh here and there and the instructions were awful.
But it came with PE parts and Resin parts!

It came in three different colors of plastic! There were parts for an other model in there that I didn't need and some parts added for the model on the cover.

I was able to bend the warping back and make everything fit quite alright.
A little Tamiya Putty here and there and I was good to go.

Then as always the hairspray and the green base color. And the white striping.

Huge amounts of chipping! Nice old and worn little Tank!

That's all for now folks.

Another winner Han!
Though I don't know how you find the patience to paint the tracks on the vehicle. That always does my head in.
It looks fantastic bud!!

That turns out to be Nato Green! Of all colours.
Plus I highlighted the centers of the surfaces with a mixture of this colour with yellow and white. :thumb1:

Hi guys,

Tiny update here.
I applied two layers of dark wash made from oil paint and spirits, did some oil paint rendering and I applied pigments to the suspencion, wheel and tracks.

I desided to put a commander in the tank. I took a left over from my SU 122 and fitted it with suitable arms.

That's it for now.
Next up: some buff color airbrushing and some more pigments.
