Global Scale Modeller

HI ,

I was thinking what to do in this SiG , , I was between a F6F Hellcat in 1/48 , or this one a long wait in the stash ... decided for this one , the Tamiya 1/32 F4U Birdcage Corsair with some extras :



To the base of the kit , decided to do it landed , will use this Zoukei Moura Base , and some pilots also from Zoukei Moura in Resin , well decide to use them or not when checking the Tamiya figure in the kit , seems that is a nice figure !



Also some Fabric SeatBelts from HGW

and of course , I have Paul's videos on it's build of the same model.

Still didn't decide if I wouldn't use more stuff , it will be pitty to build this without some Photo Etched to put me crazy or some nice Resin Wheels , some say that the rubber ones aren't nice , but will see , we have almost Two months to buil it ...WHAT only Two Months ?????

Good luck mate! It's a TERRIFIC kit! I'm in the middle of it right now. Quite honestly, it's a bit overwhelming for me. I tend to work on it for a couple hours and then have to put it down and investigate each detail further for fear I won't do it justice!

Hi guys ! Unfortunately I will not even start this one in this SiG , will enter another model .I'm afraid that I won't make justice to this great kit and with only two months to build it and also with the Homeland GB starting , will focus on the Homeland GB ( that will be a first attempt in Jetfighters build ...) and will enter this SiG but with a different build that will arrive soon !

I would like to make this Corsair some other time and with no stress in finishing it ...so this one for now is out of the workbench for some time !

Totally understand mate! It is such a great kit! Take your time with it and enjoy it! Looking forward to seeing the end result when you build it!

Hey man get it into the buddy build. Does not finish until december.

That is a good decision, this is supposed to be a fun hobby, not stressful
