Cyber Hobby Black Knight Stug III G

Being away from home for work makes it a little hard to do painting (which I have a few in the que). So, to be somewhat productive I started a new kit, which really is a series. I like some of the unique models or special kits, and this is one that I thought was pretty interesting. Along with the Stug, I have the other four models in the Black Knight series (Panther A, Panther G, Hetzer and Kingtiger). Plan is to work these in series, maybe put together as a diorama.

So for the kit:



Box full of parts as usual. They look clean with nice detail. Things going together pretty nice so far.



Unfortunately I forgot to pack the superglue so the PE parts will have to wait till either I get home or if I decide to stop at the store to get some.

It's too bad that they didn't make these a longer production run.
They' make a nice base for a lot of builds. A decal sheet and maybe a small bit of aftermarket bits and you can build tonnes from them.
Looks like yours fell together. She looks good

STUG LIFE!

Actually, I have that kit along with the Black Knight Hetzer.

They may have been limited production but they must have cranked they out when they did make them, the LHSs and Ebay are full of all the different Black Knight models.

This is my first time working with magic tracks, and wanted to fit them to the model, dry and paint them separately. A little skeptical at first with using the Tamiya thin cement and having the track pieces stay together as I shaped it and not gluing itself to the wheels. After trying a small section of track and seeing it was working, went ahead and did the entire track. Ended up great, holding shape and was removable. I was dreading the magic tracks but am thinking I may like them a lot now.

They look great!
Gotta love them magic tracks.
It's just the clean up of the ejector pin marks on a few types that can be a bit of a pain.
