hey guys this is my build iam working on at the moment this is my 1st build since i took back up model making,it is a dio in the ardennes front which will include a panther g with disc camoflage and a schwimmwagen halted in the forest.
ive managed to get two of my figs done already and i decided to give oil painting a go for faces with some hornet heads that i ordered well what can i say the heads are flawless and iam so happy with the way the oils turned out specialy for the 1st time using them.hopefully after some practice i will be able to get the faces even better.i always struggled to do faces in acrylics,so i will defo be doing my faces in oils from now on.
the groundwork was done with a sand glue and cat litter, and the tress wear done with some copper wire and some combed out thick rope then i put pvc glue all over branches and threw sawdust all over it then hairspray then more sawdust and then sprayed with some model air.they are not perfect but iam happy enough with them.
anyways hope you like the progress and feel free to comment or even give some tips.
will take some more pics soon for you guys.
