Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia USA

[Slappy]

Hello All,

Found this site through YouTube as I was watching build videos. I am returning to the hobby after 20+ years of inactive modeling. The videos and forums have been very helpful and informative. I'm really looking forward to setting up shop and getting back at it. I have had a lifelong passion for aviation and have had the pleasure of maintaining and flying airplanes for 27 years. I build aircraft primarily, but I'm sure I will venture into other subjects. I just started a Revell 1/48 Kingfisher as my first project. It's not a stellar kit, but it is simple and fits the bill nicely for getting back into the swing of things. Love the site and keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Bryan

Thanks guys. Just dove into my first kit in years. I'm having a great time and building makes me feel like a kid again. Painting and finishing are my weakest areas of modeling, so I am very interested to see what sort of improvements I can make based on what I've learned so far. Thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to chatting with you all.

Nope, I didn't even know there was a Slappy Squirrel. Too funny. I earned the nickname at the airport by carrying out a dare. I won't go into details, but from then on the name stuck.
