A nice simple kit to build, i added resin seats and wheels to the build which made a lot of difference to the kit parts. No problems with the build at all typical tamiya even most of the decals behaved :0

I weathered with Ultimate Dark dirt wash (and concrete on the wheels), watercolours, pigments and some streaking using highly thinned Tamiya smoke and flat black airbrushed.

Hi Paul, looks simply stunning. Can I ask a quick question? Did you mask or freehand the camo? I'm soon to start on Tamiya's 1/32 Spit and am already having sleepless night about how I will do the camo.

I recently tried spraying using white tack worms and masking tape on a 1/48 Spit, came out pretty well but would that serve on a 1/32 bird?

Sorry David didn't see your question, i freehanded the camo not to keen on the hard edge look

Cool, thanks Paul. I'm trying out the free hand camo now while working on some armour kits. Had a go at a Jagdpanther and was pretty pleased with the results. Will need some more practice before I go near the Spit though!

Cheers

Cracker as usual Paul. It was seeing your freehand camo on previous builds that persuaded me to have a go at it. Saves a lot of faffing around!
