Pre shading

Hi guys quick question. Can you pre shade panel lines with a brush? I do t have space to use an airbrush in my military accommodation

If you plan to brush paint the whole thing.... you risk re-activating the pre-shade layer... due to brushing action and paint thickness !

I would opt for Post shading using pastels... in the range of colour your model will be painted in... but a tad darker... that way you can control how much you apply !!! and you won't risk having a sticky mess...

Just saying !

There is the Sharpie Marker solution but once again.... How would you father the top layer to let the pre-shade show through ? would be very hard...
Pastel post shading seems a better solution ! (my 2cents)

Cheers mate I'm new to all this and never even heard of pastel post shading. Will have a read up on it.
