Hi everyone!

Finally stopped being a YouTube lurker (Thanks Paul, Lee and Coen C for your awesome vids) and decide to join the forums.
I'm 35 years old and well I used to build models in high school (so yeah... better late than never getting back into it), I abruptly stopped the day my little 5 year old nephew decide to 'play' with my 'toys'... and well he survived it better than the models did .

So happy days again, after moving recently I found my old Tamiya Yamato battleship (1/350) which I bought a few years ago and forgot about!
and thus my new/old hobby was re-born. So I went out and bought the models I lost and built them (very poorly i might add) and while looking around on the internet I stumbled on the ISM channel and some other YouTube channels (Coen C, Hollywood Modelling, Dutch Modelling, Genesis Models etc.).
It was then that I discovered wonderful things like weathering, pre-shading, post-shading and using airbrushes to paint and all the other glorious bits and pieces (Its about here that you realize I'm an utter novice ) Although that being said I will only start using these wonderful techniques when I start my newest project (most likely my Italeri A-10A 1/48)

In the meantime of course like any good modeller I've been assembling my stash (Couple of Dragon AFV's, Tamiya Bismarck, Kitty Hawk Heli and a 'few' others, it's only a few when the girlfriend asks ) so hopefully in the coming months/years I will be able to build them and also that Yamato i did the disservice of leaving in the garage gathering dust.

And that's me for now thanks for reading and hopefully I'll see you guys online or on the forum/YouTube
