JB's Humber Scout Car Mk.I

Decided to enter the Bronco's Humber Scout Car Mk.I 1/35 into the Eye Spy SiG. The kit is Bronco Nr. CB35016 and it is a 2008 (https://www.scalemates.com/kits/137673- ... wins-k-gun) rebox of the 2007 released new tool kit.



Completely oversized box for the little plastic you get inside the box.









Nice decals and PE included but that is all the plastic you get in the box.

Two sets of rubber tires are also included.



Nice booklet instructions except for the fact that they are a bit confusing as there are no step numbers. At least there are not too many part so it is relatively easy to figure out!

If you want more plastic, build their Humber Armored Car. That thing is crazy detailed.

I'm tempted to buy one of these so I'll be watching this build.

Thank you for all the comments! The kit is OK. There are some minor fit issues here and there but overall it is not bad. What is bad, is the instructions! They suck big time!

Anyway, here is the first update:



Started with the interior and made some good progress. I'm quite surprised that there is so much interior detail when so little can be seen when it is all buttoned up! But at least I will know it is there. I'm not going to go OTT on this. Prime, paint, gloss coat, wash, matt coat, little pigment and then button it all up. There are quite a few EPM on the inside but they get covered up and the ones not covered up will not be visible.



Some more detail was added. Offcourse, the stearing wheel broke off.





Also built the engine, radiator, fuel tank and comms unit. They will be sprayed up separately with some Mr Metal.



Also added the chassis, rear exhaust silencer and some suspension bits and bobs.

Wow! Neat choice...only four sprues of plastic? Anyway, looks like you are making great progress on the little guy.
