Not really no. most of the beaches here are on man made lakes, and you don't want to swim in the Red River. Most people go north to Winnipeg beach on Lake Winnipeg or east into Kenora Ontario (where I'm originally from) on Lake of the Woods or to one of the thousands of lakes in that area.
