My second 1:35 kit (T-62)

Post by sith1144 »

Hello! I am building the 1:35 scale Trumpeter T-62 mod.1962 (ref.00376), my first kit with individual track links (boy what a pain in the *** those are)
Only started taking pictures after airbrushing, so no pictures of the build, went together great though.

Looks good so far. The modern Trumpeter kits are really nice, although take some patience to build due to the large number of small detail parts. Are you going to mount this on a diorama mimicking the photo? Or will it just be a build of that vehicle, but not the scenario?

Working on the Aerial Recognition marks, getting a hand-painted look on these turned out a lot more difficult than I thought

will have to clean it up a little bit, but I think it'll turn out alright.
I am only going to model the vehicle I think, though it would be possible to make a diorama (there are images of that particular building both before and after the T-62 hit it) I have never done so before and urban dioramas seem particularly challenging.
