I started 8pm local so just as you lot were off to bed...I pressed on alone for about 5 hours and stopped here





I did manage to glue the fuselage halves together before I called it a night. There was a fit issue on the right side that I didn't' want to mess with until the glue had really gone off completely.

Across the finish line with 4 hours to spare. The kit was a real gem especially for $20. Model Master Acryls, dark dirt wash and oils. No problems that weren't caused by me rushing things. My first 48h build, and first freehand camo. I took the pix in my photo setup then realized I forgot the navigation lights, sorry for the messy bench shots.

Thanks Paul for organizing and everyone in the hangouts for the laughs, I'm in for the next one!

it's not on wrong, the plane is being pushed back....lol j/k yeah, one of the things I missed...the other is the mast, was pretty sure the callout was aluminum and did not notice how odd it looked until it was on, a quick mask and spray...

Hi Jason, she looks beautiful, great job. can I ask a quick Q? What colours did you use for the green and brown. They look spot on to me. I used Vallejo Model Air Dark Earth (as per the instructions) on mine and it's a shade too dark me thinks.

Nice comment about the tail wheel by the way. Lol

TES4846 Dark Earth ANA 617
TES4849 RAF Dark Green
TES4840 ANA 610 RAF Sky Type S

I will be using more of their range, in spite of being twice the price of Tamiya...you get 50% more paint so it's not as dear as it seems at first. I think the colors are better and they spray nice also, nice leveling and finish. You don't see them much in online builds because they are not readily available outside the US.
