On my work bench at the present the new Airfix dambusters lancaster
This has been on the go for over a month and hope to have it finished soon . Has been a good build so far and this is the first large 1.72nd i've done with a airbrush so its been a bit of trial and error and a lot of swearing thrown in!
Also I have been a bit adventurous with this build as its the first time I have used fibre optic lights and a wiring system to simulate the spot lamps used on the Dambusters raid.
The optics I picked up off Ebay by a seller who makes up sets for scale models and powered with a 9v battery housed in the rear fuselage with the on/off switch behind the rear turret which can be accessed by removing the turret.
