I just picked up this kit so I thought I would participate in this group build. This is the first Group Build I've participated in and this is like the 3rd model that I've ever built so any advice is welcome. I'm going to be building the Revell 1/48 F-16C ADF.
I will be building it with the Oregon ANG decals.
And heres some shots of the sprues

And here's one of the reference pictures that I'm using.

Welcome to ISM and that's a cool subject and paint scheme to model

You've come to a great place for almost any modelling related advice your looking for. Besides the numerous build logs, how-to, and tips forums, many members also have youtube videos for you to view. For specific questions don't be afraid to post something here.
Good luck with your F16 build

So got some work done in the F-16. I finished the cockpit and glued the fuselage together. I also put a rough coat of paint on. The instructions called for Dark Gull Grey as the dark color on the top of the fuselage but I didn't think it was dark enough so I used Gunship Grey. I used Light Ghost Grey for the underside and Dark Ghost Grey for everything else. Here it is pictured next to my 1/48 F/A-18E Super Hornet.

I never realized how small the F-16 is compared to other Fighters like the F/A-18 and F-15.
Heres a close up of the cockpit area. The decals are very cartoonish.
