Hi,
I have just started watching the YouTube series on building the 1/48 Airfix Bf109.
In part four, what do you use to moisten the cotton bud when smoothing out the plastic putty?
Thanks,
Raphael

Perfect plastic putty can be smoothed out/ cleaned up with water.

Yep, as above you can use water. I just wet a cotton bud in my mouth and use it to wipe off excess and smooth it over a seem.

Thank You both.
I have a small repair to make on a seam. I was told I could use Squadron White Putty and smooth it down with Nail Varnish Remover but I can't seem to get the hang of it. I'm not sure if it is being smoothed too early, but it just strips it all back out. This looks a much easier option.

if it's small area, gap, seam the perfect plastic putty would work fine. for any larger instances go with a regular putty.
