Another 48 Hr Build has come and gone! Attempted to build this little beauty below. Wonderful little kit with absolutely no fit issues.

Good part count for a 1/48 kit.

I also got a masking set just to speed things up a bit.

The engine is nicely detailed and there is opportunity to do some scratch building to add some detail. Next time...

Nicely detailed cockpit but unfortunately it comes with a terrible decal for the instrument panel and seat belts. I will definitely get a details set next time around.

Wheel wells are also nicely detailed.

I went for the 3-tone paint scheme using Akan 72042 Sea Blue (FS 35042), 72050 Intermediate Blue (FS35164) and 78001 White.

Subtle panel fading was done.

Weathering was done with mixing Concrete and Sand Ultimate washes and then using some oils.

Afterwards all the bits and bops were added and it was given a coat of AK Ultra Matt Varnish and then she was unmasked.

Thanks to all the guys for the 48 hrs!
