This is my entry into the ISM 48 Hour VJ-Day group build.
Tamiya's 1/48 Zero A6M3 Hamp. I added Tamiya's 1/48 F4U Corsair to the display as they're both pacific theatre aircraft.

I'm still no plane builder, but one day I'll stop painting my planes like tanks.

Looks pretty damn cool to me! Fantastic way of displaying them too. I really like the chipping, subtle. :th: :th:

A fantastic pair of aircraft.

Displayed like that, the Zero looks tiny in comparison. At first glance I thought they were two different scales!

Regards,

Raphael

I like both aircraft a lot, spectacular modelling
What is the premis for the Corsair guy's arm movement??
He looks like he is saying "whoa, that's enough, set her down"

Originally he was doing a cocky "buzz the tower" cheesy wave to the crowd sorta thing.
Now he's just saying hey dude to the the Zero pilot I guess.

Ah I get it, thought you made his arm do that for a purpose as opposed to it being cast like that
I do like the presentation of the two planes in the air

Lovely work Mr C. They both look like beauties. I've never made the Corsair but this makes me want one!
