'Rise and Fall' , 48 Hour VJ-Day GB

My entry on this 48 Hour VJ-Day GB ...

only some reveal photos ...I place a lot of photos of building progress in ISM FB page , two Tamiya kits , the 1/72 A6M2 Mitsubishi Zero , depicting one of the planes that participate in the Pearl Harbour attack , and a Vought Corsair F4AU-1 depicting one of the 'Jolly Rogers' planes on board of USS Hornet .The bases are PE from Eduard and are carrier bases ...about the kits ..main issue the decals , in 48 Hours builds you do not have time to get all things dry properly , I had some issues with the decals , in the end like a lot the result of the corsair , both kits build nicely , great fit , do not remember to use any putty on the zero , some only in a small tail section in the Corsair due for the rush build . This little 1/72 are gems , and great OOB Builds , great cockpit detail . Please be my guest to try and build one of these ...this is the second Zero I build in 1/72 from Tamiya
