Dragon 1/35 British Saladin Mark 2 - Final Reveal.

Talk about finishing last minute 
So here is my final reveal for my Dragon Black Label Saladin Mark 2.
I have finished as per the Queens own Royal Hussars from 1966, the scheme was included with the kit and is finished in single tone green.
This vehicle was produced from 1956 until 1972 and over 1000 entered service, it was suceeded by the Scorpion. It was however used by the Kuwait army during the first Iraq war.
Reference photos from the time are thin on the ground and mostly black and white, the paint scheme I chose is close to the one in Bovington, but that car is from a different regiment.
The kit was by turns fun and frustrating, with Dragon taking seemingly every opportunity to put a seam line or sprue join in the exact wrong place. But when together the model was a lot of fun to paint, I would have preferred a bit more glass detailing as the obs ports are all thin plastic, this is telling with the one glass port they do provide which looks fab, there was little in the way of aftermarket when I started this kit, including figures, hence the closed hatches. For 45-50 quid the kit is at the very top end of what I would pay for a kit, and I suppose although I am happy with the result, I think the price was high for what was in the box. Next kit is a tamiya
