Hi chaps its been a long time since my last post on the forum, life has most definitely got in the way of building.

So here's my latest build from my " Kitchen Table Workshop", since i have lost my man cave to an expanding family together with most of my free time, this one as been on the go for about a year and I am now finally happy to call this one done.

What more can be said about this kit, a great build out of the box with superb detail and simple construction which falls together.

•Kit manufacture: Tamiya
•Scale: 1/48
•Type: Beaufighter Mk VI
•Extras used: OOB
•Paints and colours used: Xtracrylics mid stone, earth brown, azures blue and tamiya acrylics for detail painting with oil pin wash.

Here's the finished build

So there it is, all in all I'm really happy with the finish build, I always try for something new in each build this one was to try oil paints to recreate oil staining from the engines together with an over all pin wash for the panel lines and am happy with the result.

Till next time happy modelling chaps.

Beautiful job. The Beau has always struck me as being a bit cockeyed with the four mg's on the one wing and the two on the other. Wonder why they did that.

Thanks for the feedback Avgas, I believe two MG's were omitted from the Left wing to make space for the landing lights in the leading edge.
