Global Scale Modeller

I chose the "Jackal" to start my first "GB" at ISM.

Actually will be my second AFV. Let´s see how it goes.

Just entered the Supacat Coyote.... be good to see these two beasts come together!

Coyote and a jackal.... It wouldn't be a desert build without'em!
Well chosen

All pieces of the sprues removed and cleaned. Took me about 5 hours.



Some parts are very small and fragile so the cleaning process must be done with care. Overall all parts well molded with great level of detail.

The glue phase is next.

I'd like to see you try that with a dragon kit hehe.
I'd loose my mind trying to do that. You're a brave brave man.

Even braver as airfix don't have a sprue map! Good luck.

I think I have everything under control guys.

This kit is a dream in terms of fittings and details.





Meanwhile I started the little scratch work I intend to carry out. First the winch system.









Then improvising some belts for the seats. Some aluminum from a bottle of Portuguese wine will be perfect.





Continuing with the details for the belt system...



The final result. Not totally happy with the result but I will not touch.

Great start bud and excellent scratch building Think i'll be doing the Coyote belts out of masking tape. If its fitting together as well as mine, you'll enjoy the build for sure!

Not much to show only the result of my first experience with the brand new primer from Badge. Excellent product.

Everything fits perfectly and so the assembly flows quickly.

Continuing with the work was time to primer.







As for the painting work I began to mix the base color with a little white. Some randomly panels painted and then the same method but darkening the color base.









The next step apply very dilute layers with the base color.

Alright I admit it - this is starting to look epic, and such a strange vehicle too.

Some small advances.

I started playing with pigments. The first time I use this kind of material.





Testing the wheels.
