Mad Max VW Beetle Build

I've been busy in other groups. One of the Amazing Plastic G+ group builds is a 'Mad Max' build. Because my father used to drive a VW Beetle 1968 I decided to build that variant. However having seen how good the Revell 1/24th scale kit was I decided to do a straight build first, followed by the Mad Max variant which I'm still working on.

The original kit as a straight build.




Bought a second copy of the same kit. Now being scratch built as a Mad Max flame thrower variant!

During building:




A bit more done, weathering adding tyres etc.





I need to add lots of pipes and detailing, hoping to finish her up this week.
