Paul's 1/48 Hasegawa P-51D "Vivacious Virgin III"

Post by Paul »

Built from the great Hasegawa kit, with a bit of aftermarket. I dropped the flaps using resin ones, added a zoom pe cockpit set, resin seat, resin props, wheels and aftermarket decals. I screwed up one of the decals right at the end of the build and had to order another set from the USA, these arrived yesterday and i finished it off

Painted with various alclad metals and weathered to show a well used ETO warbird, I'm happy with how it came out. The Coastal Kits base really looks good too.
