BAe fa2 sea harrier

Just a bit of background of the sea harrier; The sea harrier served in the Falklands war , both the gulf wars , and the Balkans conflicts , mainly operated from aircraft carriers within the conflict zone. The FA2 proved to be a capable and effective warplane , and was used to great effect in the Falklands war, with 29 aircraft destroying 22 enemy aircraft with no losses in air-to-air combat. the sea harrier was withdrawn early from the royal navy service in march 2006 and replaced short-term by the harrier gr 9 , the replacement is the f-35 lightning 2.
This was a very nice kit and fun to build , but was a challenge to paint with humbrol paints
