My late entry....

Post by smberry »

Guys,

I have been a little slow to get this one going but I hope you'll accept it as an entry.

I will be building the Meng 6x6 MRAP Cougar.

This will be my first Meng kit so that will be a mini adventure by itself. Opening the box we're greeted by a nice box full of bits!

Right, let's get on and cut some plastic!

Hi,

Well a couple of lunchtime sessions at the work desk and we have a little progress.

So far I have to say that I am really enjoying this Meng kit. As I said before, I have never built a Meng model and I think I will be building another. Everything fits flawlessly and all the parts are keyed to be installed in one way only. Even the prop shafts are keyed so that you can get the angle of the drop from gearbox to axle correct!

Here are a couple more photos of the underside. Next up we start on the interior of the cab.......
