Hello from Canada

Post by Demaclies »

Greetings and salutations!.. I'm new here but have followed a lot of the online videos even bought similar kits in the revues. I'm 38, Male, Out of work, and from Ontario Canada. I used to do landscaping, moved on from that to volunteer work , from that I went into Security work, and after that I went into locations for movie and t.v. companies shooting in my home town. Screwed my back up, and my knees, now I'm living on what is called here , Disability. I'm an avid 1/35 armor fan, I recently expanded into 1/32 aircraft, and the old Renwal kits that have been popping up as of late. My newest acquistions, are a pair of 1/16 scale kits A 1/16 Pz 38 from panda hobby, a M16 multiple gun carriage ( American M3 halftrack with the 4, .50 cals in a turret) by Trumpter, A Tiger 1 from Hobby boss, and a Tiger 2 /King Tiger by Trumpter. My usual scales I model in are 1/35 for Armor, and 1/48 or 1/32 for aircraft.

Sorry to hear about your back and knee. Try and get a referral into the orthopedics department at Sunnybrook. 3 years of suffering with a L4-L5 herniated disk was gone in an hour under the microscope. They do knees too...

( sorry for the delay in responding.) Thank you , hope to be helpful to those who need it, my skills are limited, but you guys really helped me open up into new territory, scratch building, weathering, even finally broke down and got an airbrush from Testors ( the Aztec one with the fancy wood case and several add on's included.)
