Which Friul Set for Stug IV

Post by Jagdpanzer »

Having made the expensive mistake previously of buying the wrong Friulmodel set for a Tiger II, I don't want to make the same mistake again!

looking for a set of fruils for the Dragon Stug IV early with zimm. There seem to be three options :- ATL 05, ATL 27 and ATL 28. Does anyone have any idea which set is compatible?

Thanks.

ATL 28 Are very late and would be for the Jagdpanzer IV and PZ.VI J/H so I wouldn't go for those .
The difference between ATL 05 and 27 is ATL 27 has cleats , a another option maybe ATL-04 these have the hollow guide horn .
You could check your tracks included in the kit and match from there but looking at photos of the kit onlicne I think ATL-27 is your best option with the cleats and solid horn .

Thanks for your reply. Throws up an intersting issue. I am hoping to build a Jagdpanzer IV L170 for the SIG. I checked The Modeller's Guide to the Jagdpanzer which suggested ATL 27 for the Jagdpanzer?

** Just checked. Looks like ATL 28 is correct for the Jagdpanzer. Set ordered.**
