Tarangus 1/48 SAAB 91 Safir B/C/D

Just thought i'd make a start on this while im doing the last GB and SIG there is a review of this kit and the sprues in the review section



After getting this kit i was going to do the B variant but now i have some vajello metal color i will do the C or D variant to test the paints



So to start with the cockpit and the fuselage halves also the instrument panel and the engine















Next up ill get these parts primed and painted

Right i;ve got the instrument panel. engine and cockpit painted up









and buttoned up in the fuselage with just a little filler needed so far

Not much done got the wings attached and the canopy put on and masked up ready for priming

So here it is all painted up with vajello metal color dark alluminium and decaled

















All in all not too bad a kit with only a few fit issues
