We're going to need wire bones

Styrofoam head, hips and shoulders hold articulations

A balance is created

Without proper torsion or weight the figure would fall from the box

Adding flesh...

Ear frames

Looking ok

Some face details plus fingers and toes

We leave it here. On the next update I'll work with details...

Mate, that is just brilliant.

I remember a Star Wars doc that came out in 83 and Crumb was in it, talking to the camera about when the puppets were boxed up and sent from the US to Elstree. 'Hey boys, we're going to England!' Priceless.

Love the work so far.

Just shave the cat and tell every one that it is one of those Egyptian furless cats
It will grow back in time but give the cat a little sweater for the winter

It's not a literal copy.. I was a bit "creative" with proportions, I had several pics but I was quite free with its modelling. The original was a pupet and I kind of made a humanish... thing. Just waiting a little bit more to paint it. The core is still soft; it's taking ages to dry...
