Academy 1/32 F/A-18C from a few years back

Had a minor disaster with this one on the resin seamless intakes - Whoops!

This bird had just been repainted when the photos were taken (from my references)

You can see the step in the intake....Grrrr! Should have paid more attention when gluing!

I think it looks awesome! On one of the pictures looking down at the top rear of the plane, it looks like two holes with smoke? stains. Any idea what that would be on the actual plane? Superb job you did sir!

I'm not sure what the two holes are but the staining is there in pics of the real thing and is a distinct brown shade rather than black, similar underneath also.
I'm pleased you like it, there's a Tomcat, Corsair F-4C & 2 F-16s in the same scale to go with this one!
