Using Zap a gap glue

Post by Joe »

Hey guys- Has anybody used Zap-a-Gap glue on plastic models? I have a bottle here but have never used it. The name implies that it might be good on those models that don't fit together well (like all the ones I've been building). Do you use it in place of the standard glues? Or only use it to fill a gap?

Thank you in advance! This forum has been so awesome and has been a tremendous help to me as a beginner!

Use your normal plastic cement, then use the C A glue to fill gaps and seams, this is my preferred method of gap filling now. You can also use it to glue resin and photo etch parts in place :cheers2:
