Well, a very late entry!

I have no internet for another week so, can't work. Thought I'd better get on and do some modelling then....

Not going to do anything special, but will be gluing, painting and weathering...

First off got all the stuff of the sprues ready for primer.....

Ok so, inside the cockpit I decided to spray it midnight blue instead of the light grey they recommend. Much more in keeping with the movie version....




Canopies masked, both sides I hasten to add!

Little more done this morning.....

Really crappy decals/transfers for inside the cockpit so, decided to take matters in hand..

Masked of the triangles with good old jammy dog tape...


Finish off with tamiya tape...


Spray gloss black...


Cut slits in tamiya tape and then brush paint over to get the lines I'm after...


Result - Happy with it...



Darth next. Not a lot I can do as he is so tiny.

Added a few colours to his chest plate and belt. Plus matt coated his cape and the material of his outfit....


On the throne..


In the tub - Looks cool I think...


All sealed up..


And ready for primer...



Just waiting for the new AMMO space paint sets to arrive then I'll be painting and weathering

Managed to get some more done...


Masked up the wings and the cockpit glass. Seriously, it took me three hours just to mask up the wings! A long time, but it was worth it...



How much masking tape?!?



Clear coat tomorrow, a wash then the matt coat. Should be finished just in time
