Hi i'm new in this forum. And my first entry is something untipical for me because I normaly build Military things.
I dicided to scratchbuild the interrior and the pilots. Dunno
what I do for the diorama (sry for my bad english i'm a german)

Impressive! And such a tiny scale--I'm fascinated by what you're taking on! I'll be tackling a 1/48 SBD later. It's a subject I've wanted to do for 37 years--my sixth grade teacher flew back seat in a Dauntless off of the USS Enterprise in the Pacific.

Hello guys,
yesterday I sculpted the pilot figure and today i've sculpted the gunner. It was a hard bit of work because it is realy small (maybe 1 cm ) and so it was really hard to work out the proportions but i'm happy with the resaults. Oh and I also primed the figures and the interior today.

I've primed everything in revell matt 8

Hi guys,
I was busy with school so I wasn't able to upload any update. But there is still some progress. I finished the diorama whitch is a scene in the pacific. A Japanese plane is flying over the Dauntless. And it is shooting the Dauntless but most of the shots hit the water. I based the ground with a dark blue color from revell don't know excactly whitch color. Then I used still water from NOCH, only one layer. For the next layer I used water effects (also from NOCH). I drybrushed it with a simple white color to create the foam.






So thats it for now .

thats a very good looking build , sculpting and even painting in that scale is something i could never do , good job

It's also something new for me . The figure sculpting was really hard but I think it tourned out well.
