Looking nice Paul, i decided upon dragons X29 as what was on offer in the shop was either bleh or things like b29s that i would struggle to get done in time, got to this stage in about 45 minutes however.

Got the paint done this morning, just letting the klear dry before i start on the decals which should be a smidge smaller than the tail fins on the 1 48 tomcat!

Mine started out simple... As many of my builds do.
Then I come to my senses and build something Ridiculous.
This was the original plan... A simple build of Revells crappy JU 52 in 1/144.
The kit is a bit thin on detail, but I wasn't looking for something that would be an eye burner. This scale is well outside my comfort zone, so I wanted something easy. This fit that bill.
The thing is pretty small, but not as small as some of the other builds that I've seen.
It went together with a lot of fix issues and a few big gaps. The plastic is really soft and the molds are very sloppy. It took a lot of clean up and fiddling just to get it to this point....
I primed and started painting it, but I ended up not being happy with the paint and had to start over with the white and camouflage.
I ended up repainting all of the camouflage as I brushed painted some of it and I'm terrible at brush painting air craft.
Now it's ready for gloss coating and decals. First... I came up with the dio idea.... I figured that I'd use some of the 1/144 pieces that I already have built.
Should be interesting.

Painted some of the leading edges of the wings and nose area maked it all up ready for the base colour which i made a mix of Tamiya copper and clear orange then shot some clear orange over the whole model to brighten it up. A quick clear coat and a oil wash to darken the panel lines a little and she is all ready for the fun bit next decaling

Nice work guys, maybe there's something in these braille scalers, certainly a nice break from bigger kits.

Superb work by you all,
If I had to choose it would be a very close call between the Tiger Typhoon and the pair of Hornets.
