FFVS J22

Post by JonMW »

Managed to get this done the other day in time to hand it over to my boss at the yearly Christmas lunch. It's not m¨the most detailed kit in the world and needed a few extras. Started with making a new engine using an Eduard F6F engine to make copies of the cylinders of. Used parts of a resin cockpit and a few scratch build parts. The pilot was taken from a Airfix P-51D. Then a lot of filler and rescribing panel lines. Also vacuum formed a new canopy as the kit one was way to cloudy. My boss was really pleased with it, so now he wants me to build a couple more.
