My first model in many many years, my first group build, first helicopter, lots of first time experiences!
Putting myself in the deep end first up was a challenging experience, the airfix quad bikes was a great little build, the apache kit was more challenging, mainly with fitting issues. Using PE and scratch building a few parts was time consuming and I thought time would surely beat me.
So here it is, an AH-64D italeri kit, that I have converted to a british WAH-64/AH-1 Apache, placed in a desert scene with british quad bikes as ground support. The base is pretty basic, sand from a local beach placed on a base
I'll add a wrap around background to it later on.

Thanks to all those who followed the build, Merry Christmas!
