31 Ford

Hi every one..... a few month ago I started a 31 Ford with some changes....... cut the fenders.....



I chop the roof and opened......







made a gas tank..........





and build and base for the gas tank with straps to secured in plase.......

Up date..... the chairs..... I decided to do something different......





I rust primed wit 2 rust colors......





and prepared for painting and weathering......

An update..... very old leather..... I used paper tissu and a mixture of 50% water 50% white glue and a drop of dish washer soap......





then with deferent tones of leather colors and washes this is the final product.....

Awesome work! I've used the same technique for the leather that you did. I love tissue paper... Wish I had your skills for doing the brass work.

thanks every one..... i re started this built and add some details.... i started with a new gas tank..... i got some tools to work with the tank... metal disc cuter and a set of metal forming.......



this is the new tank on the bottom the old one on the top.....





i added a pressure valve and the fill up tube......



this is the idea.......

hi..... an update i added some wood on the floor and simulated some rivets with solder.......

i made a wood box for the back of the ford.........



i add some metal mesh and hinges.... weathered and rusted some parts.....







also added a tool box, gas can a chain and a rusted wheel and a some kind of holding bracket for the tool box.......

up date...... i made the headlights cutting and soldering brass...... then i dry fit them to see how they looks......

Been up at 4 am making shift levers and such for my Bugatti
Worry over a house build can wake me too early some mornings...so just get up and do something productive quietly

hi every one.... i primed the model using a rust primer and used some rust pigments to give the crusty look.... i have an accident with a one of the parts of the model.... i step on it and i needed to fix it.......





I decidet to paint the model using the colors of a Messerschmitt BF109 that i have...... it need more weathering and some more details.

also using clear plastic and Usich polishing powder i made the mirrors.....

The perfect windows look a bit strange though. Some dust, some scratches to look a bit aged like all the other parts.
